How We Can Help Your Organization?

faq

most common answer and question

Obverse is experienced in numerous amounts of industries, government agencies, nonprofit organizations and commercial corporations. Our client list is extensive, and ranges from internet based solution for government wide agencies to hardware implementation and purchasing for nonprofit organizations to online integration for commercial corporations.

The most basic characteristic of all our projects is that they are business-critical and essential to the business process.

Obverse places a priority on the continued training and development of all staff, technical and non-technical. We budget time so that our staff has the opportunity to assess and master emerging technologies. We also hold an annual offsite training conference where industry gurus are often invited to share their expertise with our staff.

The company maintains a knowledge base on its intranet to promote sharing of information and expertise among the staff. The knowledge base is maintained by Obverse’s technical group, the company’s epicenter for research, training and information exchange.

Technical Group activities include evaluation of new technologies, oversight of a 2-week technical employee orientation program and review of the company’s development process and quality assurance procedures for all projects. Information such as architecture diagrams, technical tips, Use Case scenarios, and product/technology matrixes are distilled from every project by the Technology Group and posted on the knowledge base for company-wide access.

Most Obverse teams include from 3-10 software engineers. Larger groups can increase the margins for error and are not conducive to sharing of ideas, expertise and project development information. Such communication and interaction is crucial to the success of a project.

This approach fosters cooperative and open relationships that promote frequent communication, speed, flexibility, and a fluid development environment.

Because we apply proven business practices: The use of small teams of senior software engineers, adhering to a disciplined and focused development process managing risk, through regular quality assurance reviews.

Also, because project managers work closely with project teams, they have an intimate understanding of development problems. That understanding is well-communicated, and technical staff concerns are regularly addressed by upper management. Such a management style gets results on two fronts: customer problems are resolved quickly and employee issues are handled as they arise so people enjoy their assignments.

We are interested in exceptionally talented technical professionals, including technical project managers, with experience designing, developing and delivering working solutions using agile methodologies and OO technologies.

Relocation assistance is provided. As Obverse prides itself on working cohesively with its clients, some travel to client sites is required.
